“You really don’t need to be in a cave meditating to be enlightened.”
This week on The In Alignment Podcast I discuss a range of topics: from finding balance between the real world and spirituality; creating positive habits; and nonnegotiable things in our life.
I start off the episode talking about TIME. How we can create more time in our lives: this can be done by changing our mindset – seeing time in abundance rather than lack – and also taking time in the morning so you have space to get ready properly and set you up for the rest of the day.
I then go on to speak about my meditation and what I have learnt.. I talk about the book YOU ARE A BADASS by Jen Sincero and how that book has made me think in new ways. I share with you all what I have realised that I want to bring into my life, 3 things that for me are nonnegotiable and I can do to serve the world. These are:
– BEING KIND
– WORKING HARD
– TRYING MY BEST
I talk about what would happen if we took these 3 things into our lives.. How we can use them to stay grounded and connected to ourselves whilst also feeling spiritual in our daily life.
I go on to discuss how to create positive habits, how when we give ourself space to think of excuses we will and this makes things so much harder. You can stay motivated and SUCCESSFUL if you create positive habits to support you in your life. I share examples from my own life and the things that have helped me release habits that are not serving me.
Finally I end the podcast bringing it all back to self love.
